Motivation and project completion
It’s long beyond the time to get stuff done.
With autumn upon us, I’m filled with renewed hope and motivation. It is easily my favorite time of the year. It does have me reflecting upon missed opportunities and lack of follow-through.
Squatchy and Squirrely have gone back to Illinois to take care of stuff. Rob is in his basement working on some project or another. Ali is visiting her family somewhere I hadn’t quite caught the name of, but left me a Meade LX120 with a wink. I’m alone up here, but never fully alone.
Now the crux of this post. It’s beyond the time to finish the projects I should have long ago. I’m sure it has been said many times and in many ways; I’ve thought of it to myself countless times. One external source that resonates with me and is sometimes louder than my own voice would be @VenusTheory. I thoroughly enjoy watching his talking pictures and learn quite a bit from his mustachioed word hole. I believe one of his videos was ‘Make Bad Music’ or something to that effect. Yes, Cameron, indeed.

Navigate. . .
As a notice to myself, the cosmos, you, dear reader, if you are actually reading this (I seem to get spammers only and likely the band members and odd family member at times,) I will get stuff done! I will finish mixing some of our tracks. I will compose some of my own stuff or at least get ideas for the band. I will design something in Blender. I will brainstorm ideas toward that novel I’ve been working on. . .
You, reader*, need to get your stuff done as well. It will be a boon to you and many others out there. Many is subjective, but take a moment to fathom the population of the earth (and beyond, right Ali?) If I inspire one person (even just myself) it is worth it. So hold me accountable website version and anonymous public. (Apparently I will also need to work on my web skills while I’m at it, but goals for now.)
