It is mid-December and the holidays are upon us and we’ve been busy in the North. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been in the vein of media too much, at least nothing that has come to fruition yet. I’m hoping there will be a lull after the holidays and a group of ideas will make their way to this site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know globally, many holidays note the winter solstice as a significant time and December has figured prominently in time tables. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The snow has begun to fly and does give some inspiration along with the solitude. The lake is not frozen yet and the rhythm of the waves could serve as a beat. The Northern Lights have always looked as though they should make a shimmering tone. Maybe I’ll latch on to that. Snowflakes falling could be some subtle percussion. Am I inspiring anyone else for some Northern ambient?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Squirrely is down in Chicago spending some time with friends. The rest of the gang are hanging nearby with family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gift giving is prevalent this time of year as well. I am hopeful that there will be music and\/or video related gifts to help facilitate getting that creative work out there for you. Several gifts I intend to give to have that goal in mind. Point me to some of your creations over the winter and holiday season. It would be greatly appreciated, on many levels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
